What: The Muskegon All-Star Classic (MAC) is West Michigan's only high school all-star football game. The MAC gives graduated senior athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents with the best student athletes in the Greater Muskegon area, as well as become eligible for scholarship funding from The WV Foundation. The MAC champions leadership, academic achievement, community service, and athletic achievement.  

When: June 15, 2013 7pm EST

Where: Mona Shores Sailor Stadium
             1121 W. Seminole Rd.
             Norton Shores, MI


Who: The MAC will be played by student athletes recently graduated from their respective schools. Two teams will be composed of over 35 elite players from various schools in the Greater Muskegon Area. The schools invited to the 2012 Muskegon All-Star Classic are:

  • Coopersville
  • Fremont
  • Fruitport
  • Grand Haven
  • Grant
  • Hart
  • Hesperia

 

Senior Cheerleaders and Band Members from many of the schools above will also be showcasing their talents. Participation in the MAC gives senior athletes one last chance to perform for their community, as well as receive individual attention from college scouts around the country.

The WV Foundation awarded over $10,000 in scholarships last year to participating football players and cheerleaders. These schoalrships are based on a number of criteria (i.e. academics, athletics, community service, leadership, overcoming hardships, etc.), and will again be awarded to paticipants this year.

Half-time Presentation- Designed to honor a member of the community. The honoree is someone who has been instrumental in the lives of West Michigan students in the area of academics and/or athletics. 

The WV Foundation is looking for:
